Our Story
Founded in July 2017 in response to the tragic loss of Samuel Kwarteng, Acquiring Knowledge for Transcendence (AKT) quickly
established its commitment to community support and youth empowerment. That same year, AKT held the inaugural Samuel Kwarteng
Basketball Memorial Tournament, a heartfelt tribute to Samuel’s life. This event not only honored his memory but also provided
scholarships and resources to support youth in the community, setting the foundation for AKT’s future initiatives.
